From NSW Recognition to the National Stage: DoxAI Named 2026 iAwards Merit Recipient
Last Update: 18 October 2026

DoxAI has received both NSW Merit recognition and National Merit recognition at the 2026 iAwards in the Business & Industry Solution category.
The journey from state recognition to the national stage marks another milestone for DoxAI. More importantly, it reflects the company’s direction as enterprise AI moves beyond experimentation. Organisations increasingly need AI that can operate securely across real business environments.
Run by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), the iAwards have recognised Australian technology innovation since 1993. The program connects innovators across industry, government, education and Australia’s wider technology ecosystem.
The Business & Industry Solution category looks at whether technology solves a meaningful business problem in a genuinely different way. Judges consider the opportunity, differentiation, underlying technology and the value an innovation can create.
Across the broader competition, four themes remain central: clear opportunity, genuine innovation, strong technology and real impact. For DoxAI, that means bringing automation, governance, AI agents, enterprise models and sovereign deployment into one connected enterprise strategy.

From NSW Merit to National Recognition
DoxAI first received NSW Merit recognition in the Business & Industry Solution category. That recognition progressed the company into the National iAwards competition.
At the national stage, finalists presented their solutions directly to experienced industry judges. The process also included live questioning around the technology, commercial application and future direction.
The judging moved beyond product features. Judges wanted to understand the problem, the technology behind the solution and what made the approach different. They also considered customer value, scalability, practical application and the innovation’s future potential. DoxAI subsequently received National Merit recognition, extending its achievement from NSW to the national stage.
Building the Path to an AI-Native Enterprise
Enterprise AI is entering a different phase. For many organisations, access to artificial intelligence is no longer the biggest challenge.
The harder question is how to move AI into production securely, responsibly and at enterprise scale.
Legacy systems, fragmented workflows and disconnected applications can slow that transition. Governance also becomes more important as AI moves deeper into an organisation.
DoxAI is building around that challenge.
The company’s direction brings together enterprise automation, AI Governance, AI agents, Alfy AI, proprietary Foundry Models and Sovereign AI. These capabilities form part of a broader path towards becoming AI-native.
Rather than treating AI as another standalone application, DoxAI focuses on how intelligence connects across the enterprise. This includes the workflow, data, model, controls and systems surrounding each process.

The Next Chapter: AI Governance, Foundry Models and Sovereign AI
As enterprise AI expands, governance becomes increasingly important.
Organisations need visibility across the AI systems operating within their business. They also need stronger controls around security, risk, policy and accountability.
Therefore, DoxAI is continuing to make AI Governance a core part of its wider enterprise architecture.
The company is also developing its proprietary Foundry Models, including KAE, NOVEX and ZEPHYX. Each model is being built for different enterprise workloads and deployment environments.
Alongside these models, Sovereign AI is becoming another important part of the roadmap. It supports organisations requiring greater control over infrastructure, models and data.
Together, these capabilities represent the next evolution of DoxAI. The company is moving from individual automation solutions towards a connected environment for enterprise AI.
Enterprise Experience Is Shaping What Comes Next
Technology becomes more valuable when it moves beyond demonstration and into real enterprise environments.
DoxAI continues to work with leading enterprise organisations across financial services and other regulated industries. At the same time, the company continues expanding into new markets and use cases.
That experience influences how the platform develops.
Large organisations rarely operate with one clean technology stack. Instead, they manage legacy systems, specialist platforms, existing workflows and strict governance requirements.
Enterprise AI must therefore work with that complexity rather than create another disconnected layer.
Strategic technology and industry partnerships are also supporting DoxAI’s expansion into new markets, capabilities and enterprise use cases.
The objective is not simply to introduce more AI. It is to make AI more usable, governable and connected across the enterprise.
Why the iAwards Recognition Matters
The iAwards judging framework places strong emphasis on the technology itself.
Judges want to understand how an innovation works, how it was developed and what genuinely differentiates it.
They also consider practical customer value and whether an innovation can achieve broader adoption or scalability.
For DoxAI, receiving Merit recognition at both NSW and National level provides an important external acknowledgement of its journey.
However, the recognition arrives while the company is still building its next generation of enterprise AI capabilities.
AI Governance is expanding. New proprietary models are being developed. Agentic AI is evolving, while Sovereign AI is becoming increasingly important for regulated organisations.
The award therefore represents both a milestone and a signal of what comes next.
DoxAI began by helping enterprises automate complex workflows. Now, the ambition is broader: help enterprises become AI-native without losing governance, security or control. Want to see DoxAI in action? Click this link to book a free demo.
